The interior design of the Avion Hotel has become a great challenge for us. Together with the famous Villa Tugendhat it is the only national cultural monument of the functionalist style in Brno. That is why we approached the project with the respect and respect it deserves. The hotel was founded in 1928 and is also known to be one of the narrowest hotels in Europe.
Because it stands on a plot of 8 meters wide, the whole solution corresponds to the space and the rooms are very narrow. Our main goal when working on the project was not only to make a faithful copy with replicas, but on the contrary, we began to design modern rooms that, through the details and materials used, bear the respectful legacy of the entire hotel and the time it was created.
In the interior you will find sharp lines, often in a typical combination with rounded shapes. At first glance, visitors will be attracted by the metal construction around furniture and lighting, or perhaps a simple combination of colors.
